The Chanel Show

Karl Lagerfeld is all smiles as he walks into the Chanel boutique with Blake Lively | All Images Janelle for MDC

As the world’s premier arbiter of taste, Karl Lagerfeld knows a thing or two about throwing a party and last night’s Chanel store opening in Soho was an event to remember. Those lucky enough to score an invite were treated to the sounds of Alexa Chung’s eclectic musical selections and the ambiance of the futuristic Peter Marino designed space. Sipping cocktails and star-gazing was de rigueur, but the true stars of the evening were the exquisite Chanel pieces lining the walls; guests marveled at the detailing on 2.55 bags, J12 watches and took turns marveling at those F/W fur boots before heading out Karl’s private dinner at Don Hill’s. For a glimpse of the goings on and the elegant guests check out our exclusive images from the party.
