Karolin/Supreme: Polaroid by Paul Rowland

There has been a recent explosion of German beauties onto the blue chip editorial market, a thrust driven by girls such as Toni Garrn and Katrin Thormann. Supreme’s Karolin has just joined the must-book ranks with her stellar break out NY season which has seen her walk virtually every significant runway this weekend. (Think Alexander Wang, Preen, Herve Leger, Jonathan Saunders, Jill Stuart ) With the big name shows now looming expect Karolin to figure prominently in those ranks!     typical. nothing special. im tired of seeing the same type of girl. most of the models in the industry look related. they look too similar. wheres the major ethnicity difference in the industry. wheres the indian models or hispanic or middle eastern models. they are beautiful people too. thats what people wanna see. models relatable to them, seeing mostly white models or models that look white is actually really boring and unrelatable. theres millions of beautiful people out there with model requirements who are of color. one day the industry is going to crash because of this. this crap has to change soon.
