Kate Moss Is Launching Wellness Brand, Cosmoss
Vogue France cover star Kate Moss is having a mighty good week as the latest supermodel to dive into the wellness space with her new brand, Cosmoss. Moss made the announcement via the brand’s new account, with imagery along with a tagline “Soulful, sensual, self-aware” and “Rejuvenation, Balance, Healing.” The brand will reportedly sell detox tea, face cream, CBD face oil, with a fragrance called Sacred Mist and is set to launch on Sept 1st. Farfetch Acquires Significant Stake In Net-a-Porter
Farfetch is on its way to luxury e-commerce supremacy. Swiss conglomerate Richemont is set to sell 47.5% of Yoox Net-A-Porter (YNAP) to Farfetch, the retailer’s largest competitor. Due to this new deal, YNAP will be valued at €1 billion, with Richemont gaining $440 million in Farfetch’s shares and, in another five years, $250 million. Financial services company Symphony Global will also acquire an additional 3.2% of YNAP, leaving the company without a controlling shareholder. Johann Rupert, Richemont’s chairman, said, “the deal is a step towards building an independent, neutral online platform for the luxury industry that would be highly attractive to both luxury brands and their discerning clientele.” Shares in Richemont and Farfetch increased after the announcement. Pat McGrath x Supreme Is Coming
Iconic makeup artist Pat McGrath Labs has another mega collaboration under her sleeve, this time with streetwear giant Supreme. The two brands have ventured into a new product, nails. The kit includes polishes in Supreme’s three signature brand colors of red, white, and black, plus a set of “covetable custom logo nail decals.” Stay tuned for when the collection drops on PatMcGrath.com, as the last time the two brands collaborated the collection sold out in 10 seconds. Cara Loves Karl Collection Launches This September
Paying homage to her mentor, Cara Delevingne and Karl Lagerfeld‘s capsule collection was created with their shared values in mind and will be launching on September 8th. Named Cara Loves Karl, the collection is filled with genderless clothes and accessories like suit jackets, elongated vests, and button-down shirts, and details “that allow the wearer to customize their pieces to suit their styles.” Delevingne said, “I’ve never understood how we can define clothing with a gender, it was important to me that the collection not be just unisex, but genderless.” [Vogue]
