These 2 women have bodies to die full. Models should have curves and a voluptuous body not looking like they’re starving to death. Go Lara and Laetitia!

This is an example of how out of touch the current i-D magazine is with the world, and more importantly, itself. i-D magazine should be exciting and youthful and risky but now it’s actually less exciting, less raw and less relevant than British Vogue.
I dont understand who the magazine is created for and what the point of it is. Which is very sad. I think they need to go back and realise their position in the market. Very few 15-25 year olds in the future will claim that they fell in love with fashion & magazines through i-D like previous generations have.

David I totally agree with you but I guess it’s a global phenomenon not only in fashion productions and commercials but also in media and society….When you look back at the past issues of i-D let’s say around 2005 you can tell how fun, intuitive, well thought storyboarded the editos looked like and how they liked to spotlight talented and inspired creative people were…compared to the current issues which now are boring, cartoonesque looking and souless. Now it’s all about fame and short term buzzing no matter if this ugly

I understand Lara is known for her body and nudity is considered artistic, but at what point? Maybe perhaps I’m American, but seeing a vagina in the raw in a photograph just crosses a boundary. A breast fine,…. but not breasts that are just laid out there
Do I make sense?
To finish previous conversations, magazines like i-D don’t need a focal point or an audience, it’s to further the creative spirit of fashion through photography and the interviews of fashion insiders. I personally love them because you don’t get that intense marketing scheme and money motive most major mags offer.

Ok, one more time…. Cover after cover, campaign after campaign, editorial after editorial, L’Oreal contract for over a decade, around 17 years in the business almost non-stop… Why isn’t Laetitia considered as an icon yet?

I mean, after 17 years or so, she still works more than most of the girls on the top50 and she doesn’t get any recognition.

I’m glad to see “Americans” finally are taking on some nudity
I think adds another factor to the editorials, like pushing boundaries, which is the real reasoning behind fashion.
Welcome to the new era
