Zara Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary With 50 Models
50 models, 50 years. In celebration of Zara’s 50th anniversary, legendary supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington, alongside other ranked models such as Irina Shayk, Imaan Hammam, Joan Smalls, and Vittoria Ceretti, posed for Steven Meisel’s lens. The campaign also features Models.com’s top 50 models, including Rosalieke Fuchs, Lulu Tenney, and Mona Tougaard, among many others. In addition to the campaign, Zara has launched a 128-piece collection, featuring tailored suiting and elevated basics, with prices ranging from $26 to $459. Since Amancio Ortega opened the first Zara store in A Coruña, Spain, in 1975, the brand has become a global household name, celebrated for its accessible pricing. A short film further brings the campaign to life, featuring many of Meisel’s muses and past collaborators singing a rendition of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love,” with a tribute that highlights the power of working with those you love. The anniversary collection is now available for purchase online or at the NYC Soho store.

Edward Enninful Launches 72 Magazine
EE72, the global media and entertainment company co-founded by Edward Enninful and his sister Akua Enninful, has announced its first venture: a digital platform and quarterly print publication, 72 Magazine. Edward Enninful, former editor-in-chief of Vogue, has appointed Sarah Harris — previously global network lead and European deputy editor at Vogue — to serve as editorial director for both digital and print. Set to debut in September, 72 Magazine will cover fashion, beauty, luxury, and culture. The Enninful siblings said, “when we founded our media and entertainment company, we knew we wanted EE72 to be built as a platform first, with 72 Magazine as its cornerstone — bringing together best-in-class teams to define and deliver boundary-breaking storytelling and content. This launch with a dedicated publication are shining examples of our vision to champion creative integrity and collaboration. We are excited to share an editorial world that reflects the cultural shifts shaping today’s landscape.” Simone Oliver, former senior vice president of digital content at BET and global editor-in-chief at Refinery29, will join as head of content.Lee Swillingham and Stuart Spalding from Suburbia will lead the magazine’s creative direction. Gro Curtis Launches ICON America
Fashion stylist Gro Curtis has launched ICON America, a menswear magazine that will cover beauty, food, art, books, and watches. The debut issue features models Leon Dame, Malick Bodian, Kit Butler photographed by Paolo Roversi and actor Robert De Niro, shot by Charlie Gray. The new editor-in-chief shared, “Our goal is to create a menswear focused magazine that serves as concierge service for a modern guy. Fashion emphasis for the inaugural issue is on elegance and art of dressing up. We chose Leon Dame, Malick Bodian and Kit Butler as modern day muses who inspire not just with their looks but in the way they conduct themselves. I feel extremely happy to have names such as Paolo Roversi, Pieter Hugo, John Galliano, Kim Jones and many more as our contributors for the first issue. ICON America passionately covers beauty, food, art, books, watches, fashion and so much more. We hope to become a guide for men, the modern man’s elegant best friend and fashion consigliere.” ICON America is owned by Reworld Media, which publishes editions in Italy, Spain, France, the Middle East, and Australia, and will soon launch in Serbia. In addition to Curtis, the ICON team includes editorial director Andrea Tenerani, creative director Alex Wiederin, and publisher-at-large Tanya Amini. The biannual publication will be priced at $20. 2025 Guest Designers at Pitti Uomo
This year’s guest designers for Pitti Uomo have been announced, and Japan is taking center stage. From the choice of venue for its biannual media luncheon to the fair’s guest designer and guest of honor: Homme Plissé Issey Miyake. The brand will host a runway show for its Spring 2026 collection on June 18th, the second day of the trade show, at the Villa Medicea della Petraia. Other guest designers include Post Archive Faction, an avant-garde men’s sportswear and experimental outerwear brand founded by Korean designers Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong, and Niccolò Pasqualetti, a Tuscany-based finalist for the 2024 LVMH Prize for Young Designers. Pasqualetti, who previously worked at The Row and Loewe, will showcase his own brand. The show will take place from June 17th to 20th at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. [WWD]

Gucci Cruise 2026 Show
Gucci announced on Thursday that its Cruise 2026 collection will be unveiled at the brand’s historic archive in Florence on May 15. The archive is located inside Palazzo Settimanni on Via delle Caldaie, in the heart of the Tuscan city. The building, which Gucci acquired in 1953, has served various purposes over the years, including as a workshop, factory, and showroom. Since 2021, it has housed the Gucci Archive. The Cruise 2026 collection will be designed by Gucci’s in-house team following the departure of Sabato De Sarno in early February after a two-year collaboration. The brand is awaiting the arrival of his successor, Demna, who will conclude his tenure at Balenciaga with an haute couture show on July 9 and begin at Gucci shortly after. [WWD]

Miu Miu Tales & Tellers
Miu Miu announces a second iteration of ‘Tales & Tellers’ in New York, conceived by Goshka Macuga and convened by Elvira Dyangani Ose.The project is at the intersection between fashion, cinema and art – inspired by and featuring the film commissions that comprise Miu Miu Women’s Tales, and the artistic interventions from Miu Miu runway shows between Spring/Summer 2022 and Spring/Summer 2025, all featuring female creatives. From May 10th to the 11th, the exhibition is open to the public at Terminal Warehouse, 261 11th Ave – New York.

Superfine: Tailoring Black Style Maps Out Identity Through Dandyism
This year, The Met had the daunting task of looking at three centuries of Black fashion through the lens of dandyism, revealing how tailoring and design has shaped Black identity across the Atlantic diaspora. Curated byAndrew Bolton and guest curator Monica L Miller, the exhibit draws from Miller’s “Slaves to Fashion” to explore the connections between fashion, history, and power. Pieces from Grace Wales Bonner, Virgil Abloh, Theophilio and others show how design can carry memory and meaning. Grounded in the legacy of icons like André Leon Talley, Superfine highlights those who understood that style could both disrupt and dignify. Find more images here.

Superfine: Tailoring Black Style Stitched a New Met Gala Standard
The 2025 Met Gala celebrated its new exhibition focused on black dandyism, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, the first exhibition dedicated to menswear since 2003’s Men in Skirts. The models came prepared from Ugbad in custom Michael Kors to Tyson Beckford in Ralph Lauren, and a last-minute surprise from a glowing, newly pregnant Rihanna in custom Marc Jacobs to cap off the night.
