At 16 (the age at which she debuted as a MOTW) Ava Smith already had the bone structure and the beauty that made heads turn twice. But the Ava Smith who is now a confident and evolved young woman has taken that beauty to its true potential this season with a smash runway record that logged Givenchy, Chanel, Valentino, YSL, Celine, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Burberry, Calvin Klein and Alexander Wang. More important than that roll call of shows is the fact that Ava cut such a striking and emphatic presence in each and every one of her outings. This is a girl you truly remember, which is not so easy these days. As such, this face, with that inimitable bone structure means Ava’s appeal to the blue chip editorial camp is running at maximum capacity.

I remember Ava when she first started in NYC, she is a special and great girl, I am so glad that she has had this moment to shine, it took a few years for people to catch on to her unique and special beauty. I am so happy for her and the great people behind her like Roman Young, who I think always knew that she was going to have her moment in the sun.
I remember thinking in 2005 she was going to goto the top, and to see her having this impeccable show season 14 seasons later, I feel like everything happens for a reason at the right moment. I imagine that she will continue to rise and her moment has finally come, its well deserved she is absolutely amazing.
