Sophie Theallet S/S 13

There’s nothing like when a designer hits their stride. With a Woolmark prize under her belt and a distinctive style all her own, Sophie Theallet is one of New York’s most influential designers. For spring she delivered one of her best collections to date with a confident assortment designed for the woman who embraces her freedoms. Theallet’s elegant showing was a delightful mix of intarsia knits, unique layering (knits worn under dresses, cardigans peeking playfully from beneath sheer skirts) and dragonfly prints. The latter added a touch of whimsy to a collection that offered a thoroughly grown up interpretation of chic. We wouldn’t be at all surprised if the stunning dragonfly embellished finale dress on Romee Strijd became an editorial favorite.

The collection seem to be really beautifull. Light fabrics and extravagant colours are what the modern woman need nowadays.
