Mad Chic
Madonna / Sept 2003 Bazaar. September Bazaar cover icon Madonna will not be told her moment's over. In addition to her cover score, also look out for her Gap spot due this weekend with Missy Elliot rapping over remixes of Maddy's latest "Hollywood" as well as that old chesnut "Get Into The Groove". What we'd really like to see is the visual of both superstars delegating their respective piles of 'bling bling" to their bodyguards while they got styled in their very affordable Gap duds! Now that's Hollywood! Posted by wayne at 05:46 PM

Cute For Q
Ben/Q. Polaroid courtesy of Q Models Q's men's division continues to power its way through the business with this eyecatching new find in the form of Ben. Add to that, Andres' high profile Louis Vuitton imagery, as well as the 12 pages he just booked with Karl Lagerfeld for Numero and what you have is a board worth combing for more hot new faces! Get Guinevere
Guinevere/IMG. PH. Courtesy of IMG One of the coolest, most expressive models around (by the name of Guinevere van Seemus) is getting ready to fly from LA to re-enter a marketplace that could use an inspirational muse right about now. Stay tuned for a suite of new editorials in the upcoming months featuring Guinevere. (Wonder what the make is on that digital camera she using. Hmmmmmm) Posted by wayne at 04:21 PM
Charming Caroline
Caroline Trentini/Marilyn. Ph Juergen Teller for Marc by Marc Jacobs How adorable is Marilyn's secret weapon, Caroline Trentini in the new Marc by Marc ads. The faun like pose, the almost sticky sweetness of the yellow shoes on yellow background. Got to give it to Teller for taking this retro-mod collection in a sweet but twisted direction. Maximum Impact
Nadine/Supreme. Ph Mario Testino for Gucci FW 03 Now the story can be told. Jamaican newcomer Nadine/Supreme surfaces in the current Gucci campaign and very much holds her own. And for the naysayers on our Industry Forums expressing confusion concerning the "theme" of this season's Gucci ads, here's the backstory. Think Power Dressed 80's Amazons (Dewi=Brigette Nielson, Nadine=Grace Jones) nursing power babies. Very "Women Having It All. Juggling Career and Family" Or at least that's the partyline we've been given. Posted by wayne at 04:34 PM
Eva Forever
Eva H/1 Mgmt. in the NY Post What was more shocking about that scorching NY Post snap of 1 management's Eva Herzigova on the catwalk for the Dolce y Gabbana S/S 04 men's show? Eva's ever sexy body or the new hair color? Seems the reason for the shift from blonde to brown was for the role in her upcoming film "Modigliani". Eva was cast in the role of Olga, wife of Pablo Picasso in the movie directed by Mick Davis. The film stars Andy Garcia and French actress Elsa Zylberstein. Principal photography wraps tommorow (July 12) and as soon as Ms Herzigova hops back to town, expect an exclusive report from MDC on the picture due for release in November 03. Lovely!
Louise Pederson/Women. Ph. Ellen von Unwerth for ID Magazine August 2003 Former MDC cover girl Louise Pederson/Women surfaces on the new ID cover further proving her ever rising market value. Rock n' roll nonchalance merged with a frisson of carefree sensuality is a must sell, no? ...In other news. As first scooped in our Top 50 faces, Jil Sander has indeed tossed out the FW 03 campaign shot before her return. That undeniable sensation, Elise Crombez/Next now bows in for a new round of shooting with David Sims and Joe McKenna. There's no denying Sander's flawless taste! Posted by wayne at 03:09 PM
