She now nestles beside Christy Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson, Kemp Muhl, Emily Didonato and Zhang Ziyi as a brand spokesmodel. Testifying to the increasing value of the Chinese fashion market, Shu Pei’s signing certainly vindicates the good taste of houses like Prada, Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Louis Vuitton in casting this beautiful girl from the Henan province. As Maybelline New York Global CEO Damien Bertrand states: “Shu Pei not only looks outstanding, but she also has inner fire. Her dazzling image and style and unique temperament in the fashion world has demonstrated she is fully capable of endorsing and interpreting an international cosmetics brand such as Maybelline New York, where we search for the perfect qualifications and personality. only for Asia or internationally? usually the Asian faces are shown internationally only for one season then they remove it and only continue to show in Asia. i hope some day they’ll pick a great chinese beauty with commercial look (the body) as well as high fashion face to stand together with Adriana, Erin,Julia…etc.
