Sophie Theallet S/S 2015
There is a certain mellow atmosphere that can only be found in Jamaica, other tropic locales are relaxed but Jamaica boasts a vibe like none other. Countless artists have tapped into this spirit of cool and for spring Sophie Theallet brings a bit of that to her runway. With her own spin on tropical prints and the iconic red, green and gold Theallet took her feminine creations into irie territory. With reggae pumping through the speakers models strutted down the runway in off the shoulder sweaters dotted with palm prints and creamy white dresses that appeared to glide as they moved. Theallet is a master of the subtle seduction and each look she presented for Spring managed to be coyly sexy. Waleska Gorczevski in a lengthy black gown covered in eyelets is sure to set many hearts aflutter and the key looks with their Monroe inspired voluptuousness seem destined for the wardrobes of Theallet’s chic clientele.
