Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2013

Who but Jeremy Scott could send Lindsey Wixson down the runway in a close approximation of a Big Bird cos-play and elicit applause from his audience. Scott is in a class by himself when it comes to the dedication of his acolytes and for fall he turned out outlandish looks sure to please the global club kids who follow him faithfully. The Garbage Pail Kids, meets straight edge punk themed collection was filled with color, patterns that looked culled from especially gruesome comic books and a few anarchist symbols for good measure. Surprisingly in your face collection seemed almost restrained at points, thanks to the guiding effect of stylist extraordinaire, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, who masterfully translated Scott’s mania into editorial ready ensembles.
