The Hot List is a curated lineup of the most in-demand newcomers in the business. These are the guys who conquered the runways, snagged spots in the very best campaigns and lookbooks and made editorial waves in top tier magazines - all within a season or two. Consider this the scoreboard for fashion rookies and foreshadowing for the Top 50. These young lads are the future, the next generation, the first round draft picks of the modeling industry. Raf Simons is a designer who knows what he likes and, since early 2017, that has been this curly-haired Spanish architecture student. After closing the Fall 2017 Calvin Klein show, he has appeared in nearly every campaign for the brand, from watches and jewelry and underwear to both the Jeans and 205W39NYC runway line while under an exclusive contract. Simons’s close collaborator Willy Vanderperre has become a major supporter as well, shooting him for Dust, i-D, and twice for Vogue Italia.
