Timo Weiland Fall/Winter 2013
Fall 2013 is looking bright for Timo Weiland, who showed his men’s collection apart from his women’s in a standalone presentation for the first time this season. The colors were rich —see Chris Colton’s all-red ensemble or the IKB of Guerrino Santulliana’s shirt— and the lines were clean, with playful touches throughout (like designer Alan Eckstein’s dog making an appearance on Charlie Westerberg’s sweater). There was a clean simplicity to David Hlinka’s color-blocked shirt, to Aaron Chisum’s soft quilted jacket, to the graphic medallion print that made several appearances. It was a smart step forward for a promising local up-and-comer.
