Suno S/S 2015
Suno has always been a favorite brand of editors and influential consumers, but in the past few years the line has developed a prestige that has taken it to a new level. As CFDA Award winners and LVMH Prize finalists Max Osterweis & Erin Beatty have become members of fashion’s new guard, making theirs amongst the most anticipated shows of the week. The added pressure doesn’t seem to have effected Osterweis and Beatty, if anything it imbued their spring collection with a blithe spirit. Starting with sorbet colored stripes and cropped pastel trousers is as carefree as it gets and the lighthearted fun continued with a series of painterly prints that could head straight off the runway and onto the streets. The duo has developed a loyal following over the years in part due to those inventive an ethically crafted prints and as always those were on point. A few experiments in draping and layering added a dressier than usual feel to the endeavor but on the whole Osterweis & Beatty’s Spring offerings were completely in line with the brands ethos. Highlights centered around the mishmash of graphic and floral patterns, which were worn the perfection by the comely cast of highbrow beauties.
