Models.com went behind the scenes with exclusive access for Esteban Cortazar’s latest collection during Paris Fashion Week. As preparations were carried out, the cast of girls like Greta Varlese, Isabella Emmack and Molly Bair were fitted into looks that had a hint of galactic minimalism–with metallic fabrics, Swarovski crystal covered platforms and silhouette, bending shapes made more earthly with python and mesh details. Beauty was kept current, as in less is more, letting the glowing skin do the work, accentuating only on the eyes. Somehow even the braids felt a bit “Brave New World” with silver and python ribbon threaded through. In a future not too far away, one can imagine the Elysian designs of his SS16 designs as the norm.
