As he took his own personal trip this year moving operations to Milan, Shayne Oliver centered his ideas about streetwear around “pilgrimage” and his HBA crew took the tour. Whether it was a merging of luxe furs with subversive silhouettes, baggage tags laced throughout the collection, bustiers wrangled out of airport baggage plastic wraps, or packed-on styling as if strictly forced by TSA —the deconstructed pieces showed a positive evolution of the fearless brand. Casting relied on a mix of androgynous club kids from the street and notable models with quirky charm rounding up the executed vision of a brand that keeps pushing the boundaries.
