Julia Restoin-Roitfeld‘s fashion pedigree is unmatched; as the daughter of former Vogue Paris EIC, Carine Roitfeld, she’s blessed with an innate sense of chic, but it is her refined sexiness and unique personal style that have made her a fashion icon in her own right. Until recently Roitfeld has shined as an art director and Lancome face, but the Parisian beauty steps into a new role as designer, with a capsule collection for luxury lingerie brand Kiki de Montparnasse. Her streamlined collection of boudoir staples is every bit as romantic and sensual as you’d expect, with lace and satin creating classic shapes worthy of pin up girls. At last night’s fête to celebrate the collection’s launch, industry elite oohed and aahed over the undies, but they also took time out to play with a few of Kiki De Montparnasse’s eccentric objects d’art – when gold handcuffs and lacy masks abound, who can resist?
