Liu Wen and Ming Xi backstage

With her gift for merging the modern and the traditional into a seamlessly elegant package, Wang Chen Tsai-Hsia of Shiatzy Chen has become one of Asia’s most sought after talents. At her Paris showing this week Wang focused on feminine silhouettes with elegant details. Embroidery played a strong role, as did bold color on dresses and accessories. The mood was refined and romantic, a spirit exemplified by a finale gown on Liu Wen that seemed fit for a princess bride.
