In model management timing is everything and the moment NYMM’s Juju opened the FW11 BCBG show, the message was out that this could be the season where everything changes for this girl. After logging Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Dolce Gabbana, Jil Sander, Chanel, YSL and Miu Miu on the runway circuit Juju has certainly racked up editorial and campaign traction post-shows.

Maybe she’s not exactly a “newcomer”, but in fact this has been her first season with such a (personally welcome and kind of objectively deserved) success. I’m so glad ’cause… you know, she’s the kind of model sometimes, better way too often unfairly underrated, but her “reassuring” and “regular” beauty is a factor, and personally a very appreciated one.
