Tayla Collins, an 18 year old strawberry blonde from Georgia USA is speeding into the Spring/Summer 2007 shows as one of the most coveted new models of the moment. That makes perfect sense given that all of Tayla’s prior bookings have all perched on that selective peak defined by the FW 06 Jil Sander campaign shot by Willy Vanderperre and the Burberry by Mario Testino. The unusual fact that Tayla has yet to walk a New York, London, Milan or Paris runway makes her an even more coveted proposition. Now as the countdown to show week mounts, all eyes are on the girl who says a perfect day for her is “one spent with a cowboy” even as she confides ” I’m not nervous about doing shows for the first time…I’ m terrified!!! No, it’s just the idea of this southern girl having the opportunity to wear some of those designer clothes is what makes me weak in the knees.
