Q: So Lindsey, at what age did you start modeling? A: I seriously started modeling at age 13.
Q: Did you have a favorite model at the time? A: Actually not then but I did like Jean Shrimpton's look and you know what, I still do.
Q: What do you enjoy most in the business? A: The traveling and making big bucks!! (laughter)
Q: And what do you hate most about it? A: Its when you have lots of people all deciding what they're going to do but there’s no vision and a lot of confusion. That drives me up the wall.
Q. And what have you been working on recently? A: In terms of shows, I have already been confirmed for "Polo" -Ralph Lauren, just got back from Europe opening the "Swish Jeans" show. I did the January "W" Magazine with Carter Smith. In terms of campaigns I have done recently would be "Hot Kiss", "GUESS" and "Loves Baby Soft". Editorially I have "Arena" magazine with Terry Richardson, "German Elle", the cover of "Spur" with Patric Shaw and "Blackbook" with Todd Oldham as the photographer. It was his first photography job. I was so honored that he chose to cast me because, let’s face it, he could have used just about any model he wanted.
Q: For all the people out there pursuing a modeling career, what advice would you give them? A: 1.Don't tell everyone at your first booking that you can't wear something because someday when your a supermodel, it could come back to haunt you. 2. Remember when you go to a casting, you are going to a job interview, look the part. If you can't afford to dress up yet, then at least show up with a nice simple manicure, clean face and hair.
Q: Excellent. So how long do you see yourself doing this? A: Until I get old and bitter (laughter).
