Photographer:
Karl Lagerfeld
Starring: Stella Tennant/Women
The Editor: So this is what it is like to
be born rich, to be raised rich and to know in all probability
you will become even richer before the curtain falls. You
know wealth. You know that world. You know those women as
your mother, your mate, your muse. You know what a rich woman
truly is. It's like Stella once said in a moment of offhanded
truth: "Money is not new to my family". This is
the wealthiest looking woman I've seen in any of these campaigns.
And she's doing something instinctive to her tribe. Window
shopping. She doesn't look forced or fake in the clothes.
Dear god, she's not even posing! She's embodying!
The Art Director: I like it. Stella in Chanel.
Shopping. Roll credits. Karl Lagerfeld always gets it!
The Shop A Holic: It's cool. Not going crazy.
Makes me want to buy something for my Mom.
The Agent: Like the song says "Clear
as day, hard as diamonds". Is this Aspen?
The Editor: No dear, it's aspirational.
