Reigning Dutch design queen Hella Jongerius has guest-curated an exhibition of samplers and related paraphernalia entitled Hella Jongerius Selects: Works from the Permanent Collection at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. The most intriguing designer to emerge from the Droog Design collective, Jongerius is known for her distinct design vocabulary that embraces the romantic notion of craft and her love affair with embroidery.
