John Galliano Is Back, and He’s Partnering with Zara
John Galliano is returning to the design studio, this time partnering with Zara on a collaboration that will see the couturier “re-author” the brand’s archives and create seasonal collections over the next two years. Described as a “creative partnership,” Galliano will work directly with pieces from Zara’s past seasons, deconstructing and reconfiguring them into new seasonal expressions and creations. The collections will be released seasonally beginning this September. This marks Galliano’s first design role since his departure from Maison Margiela, where he had a creatively and commercially successful ten-year run. To announce the news, Zara tapped Szilveszter Mako to shoot the accompanying images. [WWD]
Simone Rocha Joins Pitti Uomo
Four years after unveiling her first menswear look, Simone Rocha is officially expanding into menswear, with her first standalone show set to take place in Florence this June. She will present as the guest designer at the 110th edition of Pitti Uomo. “It’s an amazing opportunity,” Rocha said. “So far the menswear has been very hand in hand with the womenswear. Now I feel ready for it to stand on its own and be its own proposition.” Rocha joins a lineup of designers who have made their Florentine debuts under the Pitti umbrella, including Raf Simons, Rick Owens, Martine Rose, Glenn Martens with Y/Project, Jun Takahashi of Undercover, and the late Virgil Abloh of Off-White. Hanya Yanagihara Exits T Magazine
After nine years at T Magazine, Hanya Yanagihara is stepping down as editor-in-chief with her last day being June 1. Yanagihara broke the news on Instagram saying, “One of the true pleasures of life is getting to meet people who challenge you to see the world differently. At T, I learned about, and was invited into, worlds and tribes I never imagined would be open to me, and was received with great generosity of spirit, despite my ignorance on numerous subjects. I like to say that working at T was like getting an honorary MFA in decorative arts, architecture, and contemporary design, and during my tenure, I got to meet architects, artists, artisans, garden designers, chefs, curators, historians, and, of course, fashion designers—some of whom have become dear friends.”

Progetto 11Acquires Tomorrow Ltd
Tomorrow Ltd., the London-based distributor turned brand incubator, is set to be acquired by Progetto 11, the parent company of Italian e-commerce group The Level Group. Originally operating as a showroom and distributor, Tomorrow later evolved into a hybrid model, backing emerging designers while taking on responsibilities across production, development, and global distribution. As part of that shift, the company built a portfolio of brands in which it held equity stakes, while leaving creative direction, image, and communications in the hands of the founders. More recently, however, tensions have surfaced between Tomorrow and several of its partners, with reports suggesting delays in financial commitments. In February, Coperni’s Arnaud Vaillant and Sebastien Meyer withdrew from Paris Fashion Week, citing a lack of resources to stage their show. Martine Rose also announced plans to halt production on her latest collection, though Tomorrow has since pushed back, stating that production remains on track. [BoF]
Models.com Top Newcomers F/W 26
Whether it was headline-making creative director debuts or collections that signaled a recalibration of house identities, Fall/Winter 2026 unfolded as a season of measured transition rather than Spring/Summer 26’s wholesale reinvention. From Demna’s much-anticipated arrival at Gucci to Antonin Tron at Balmain, Meryll Rogge at Marni, and Rachel Scott stepping into Proenza Schouler, a new wave of authorship took shape across the calendar, less about disruption, more about defining a point of view. On the runways, the casting narrative shifted accordingly. While there were fewer true newcomers breaking through this season, there was a noticeable consolidation around established breakouts and a renewed embrace of experienced, often older models—signaling a growing appetite for charismatic presence and tenacious longevity. Age diversity continued to expand in meaningful ways, even as size inclusivity fell to disappointing lows. Against this backdrop, the faces that did emerge had to cut through a more competitive landscape. Models.com tracked every key debut, return, and standout moment across the four fashion capitals and tapped some of fashion’s most influential creatives to share their picks for the F/W 26 season. Dive into our definitive overview of the Top Newcomers and Top Breakouts lists to see who made their mark during F/W 2026 here.
A Look Back At Beat Bolliger’s Hermès Years
In the late 2000s, Hermès menswear entered a refined era of recalibration under stylist Beat Bolliger and then creative director Véronique Nichanian, defined by understated luxury, effortless tailoring, and a quiet, lived-in approach to dressing. Prioritizing ease over spectacle, the house reshaped modern menswear through instinctive color, precise silhouettes, and timeless restraint. With their final show now behind them, this chapter closes on one of fashion’s most enduring and disciplined creative partnerships. In an exclusive Models.com interview, Bolliger speaks with contributor Bronson Vajda on his long-standing collaboration with Nichanian, the evolution of Hermès menswear, and why true style is built slowly, with conviction.
