Structure, Confetti, & Club Energy Collide at Courrèges F/W 25

Courrèges has a knack for theatrical set design, and for F/W 25, Nicolas Di Felice and set designer Rémy Brière once again placed a striking centerpiece at the heart of the runway. Last season’s circular sand-filled installation gave way to a confetti-filled square, mirroring the collection’s shift toward a lighter, more playful energy. As the club classic remix of The Realm by Chantal played through the Carreau du Temple, its lyrics—”something for your mind, your body, and your soul”—reinforced the brand’s futuristic, dancefloor-ready aesthetic. Cast by Piergiorgio Del Moro, fresh face on the Courrèges runway, Maëlie Harambat, opened the show after making her Milan Fashion Week debut earlier in the season. The collection stayed true to the brand’s signature sleek minimalism, with monochromatic, second-skin silhouettes and sharp asymmetrical cuts dominating the lineup. The color palette—blush, white, crimson, and black—felt stark yet sensual, adding to the collection’s understated futurism. Standout looks included backless halter mini dresses that draped like scarves, as seen on Sara Caballero, and feathered halter tops with matching trousers, worn by Jeanne Cadieu and Loli Bahia. Accessories played a key role in shaping the collection’s futuristic vision. Models wore wraparound shield sunglasses, resembling a sleek, fashion-forward take on augmented reality eyewear. Meanwhile, the clutches featured sculptural cutout handles, offering a playful yet functional approach. As Hanne Gaby Odiele closed the show, the confetti-filled installation dramatically lifted, scattering pieces into the air and turning the runway into a moment of celebration.
