Georgina Cooper Passes, Harvey Nichols Taps Kate Phelan, and more news you missed

Georgina Cooper Passes
British model Georgina Cooper tragically passed away at the age of 46 from a brain hemorrhage while on a Greek island, just a month after her wedding. Known as a part of the ‘90s British “cool girl” era, Cooper graced the pages of The Face Magazine and walked for brands like Versace, Burberry, and Dries Van Noten. Tributes have poured in from figures across the industry, including fellow model Erin O’Connor and Cooper’s former agent, Dean Goodman, who shared, “I’m in total shock. I talked to her not long ago about meeting up after her wedding. She was the original gap-toothed girl! I will miss her immensely. Rest in peace, Georgie girl—I’ll never forget you and always love you. See you on the other side. She was my girl.” [WWD]
