Plaid is baaaaaack, the familiar patterns are everywhere this season for men and for women: whether it is the romantic patchwork look at Rodarte, Chris Benz’s laid back madras or a good ol’ red and black workwear shirt at Michael Bastian, designers are playing with the notion of pattern. For fall/winter the trend seems to revolve around mixing prints for an eclectic look, but will it catch on? Unless you are Terry Richardson, there is probably only a limited amount of plaid in your closet and even plaid enthusiasts might shy away from the bold mixes and matches seen on the runway.
Which designer / model pulls off the trend best and will you be trying this out for yourself?
