Nensi Dojaka Expands Her Sexy Signature for S/S 23

Yesterday morning, Albanian designer Nensi Dojaka truly mastered her signature of sexy minimalism. With delicate tailoring and construction, Dojaka continues to utilize chiffon fabric to elevate her customers’ body-con desires. For the 2021 LVMH prize winner’s spring collection, she looked to Jean Paul Goude for inspiration. Goude often played around with angular shapes, something he and Dojaka both have in common. Dojaka’s statement heart-shaped cut-outs in rose pink, lilac, red and silver were seen on dainty crop tops, biker shorts, and sultry dresses with high slits. For this season, the designer opted to experiment with lace, denim, and lurex, all intertwined into her lingerie-fitted pieces. Two notable accessories were the lace tights seen on Mila van Eeten and Sherry Shi with the cut-out kitten heels worn by each model – could this be the designer’s hint at the brand expanding their accessories department? As usual, Dojaka had a stellar line-up cast by DM Casting, with Vittoria Ceretti opening and Emily Ratajkowski closing. Walking for the brand again, Paloma Elsesser, Victoria Fawole, Nyagua Ruea, and Catarina Guedes oozed ultra sex appeal aligning with the vision of the Nensi Dojaka woman.
