Off-White Launches Beauty Line
Off-White is the latest luxury brand to tap into the beauty market with a new line called “PAPERWORK.” Before late founder Virgil Abloh passed, he described the beauty brand as “another canvas, another surface for human expression.” The full range of the ageless and genderless collection features six imprint face and body solid pigment crayons, a set of template stencils, six color matter nail polishes, and the first drop of the beauty line, four SOLUTION fragrances that all dropped on Wednesday on Off—white.com and Farfetch.com. The fragrances were inspired by nineties nostalgia, bougie classics, and natural earth elements, made in collaboration with celebrated perfumers Alexis Dadier, Jerome Epinette, and Sidonie Lancesseur, priced at £135. Vogue Russia Shuts Down
After suspending operations in March due to the continuous war with Ukraine and censorship laws, Condé Nast officially closed Vogue Russia. In an email to employees at the publication, a Condé Nast spokesperson said, “the escalation in the severity of the censorship laws, which have significantly curtailed free speech and punished reporters simply for doing their jobs, has made our work in Russia untenable.” The publishing giant has conducted business in Russia for over 20 years, including Vogue Russia and Russian editions of GQ, GQ Style, Tatler, Glamour, and Architectural Digest. Roughly 10 percent of Russian staff will keep their positions to fulfill outstanding obligations, while the others will receive severance, benefits, employee assistance, and outplacement programs.
