Saks is Launching Co-working Space — SaksWorks
Saks Fifth Avenue’s owner is stepping into the co-working space industry by partnering with WeWork to replace some of their retail spaces into working centers. SaksWorks launches this September in New York City, Manhasset, Long Island; Greenwich, Connecticut, and Eastchester, New York. With the increase of e-commerce sales due to the pandemic, brick-and-mortar stores are seeing less traffic, so the move comes at a relevant time. SaksWorks President Amy Nelson said, “The pandemic has changed so much about our lives, including how we work and where we live. I’m thrilled to join SaksWorks in its efforts to serve the millions of Americans who now work remotely from their suburban homes or who find themselves as part-time commuters in this hybrid world.” [Vogue]
