Take Stock: Zendaya, Marland Backus and more of the models making the biggest moves

Anok Yai: Can’t say it’s surprising, Anok is, like, everywhere (for a good reason). Still, a very first Vogue Italia cover, one photographed by Steven Klein is always major momentum in any career, even one as fast-moving as Anok’s.

Zendaya : A second American Vogue cover must have the Euphoria actress feeling actual euphoria with the additional star power! Most can only dream.

Nathan Westling: He has been in the news a lot lately after his CNN article coming out as transgendered, but the model’s first cover since––i-D’s Summer 2019 issue, complete with an extensive interview, serve as the exclamation point to his moment.

Adwoa Aboah: Not many female models get a British GQ Style cover, the last was Naomi Campbell in 2018. It’s just more evidence Adwoa’s multi-hyphenated brand has grown beyond one category of classifaction.

Marland Backus: Anything Hedi Slimane touches is bound to garner gossip––you either love him or you hate him. If you’re one of his own, this time Miss Backus who is featured in Celine’s latest campaign, it’s the former. Not to mention, the model has successfully bridged two worlds: once starring in Phoebe Philo’s F/W 15 campaign. See, can’t we all get along?

Tyra Banks: More than 20 years since her historic cover with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, the ANTM icon returns joining Camille Kostek and Alex Morgan.
