Stuart Vevers was under the spell of Santa Fe for his Spring Summer Coach 1941 collection. Backstage models waited in the collection of distressed pieces, tanned leathers, floral dresses, moccasins and denim getups, soon to be sent down a glistening sand-dusted runway with a 100 foot long “dinosaur” salvaged from found materials as the backdrop. Printed and stitched Disney scenes, like Dumbo and Bambi, added Americana whimsy to the Western pastiche. Fran Summers, Paul Hameline, Sora Choi and Blesnya Minher are seen backstage, runway ready, joined by Coach’s celebrity fans like Maisie Williams and Lakeith Stanfield. Take a peek backstage now!
