One of my favorite books is “Les Fleurs du mal” by Baudelaire because of its powerful exploration of human emotions and the beauty of its poetic language. I was laying unconscious at the bottom for 1 minute till my friends mom saw me. When they got me out, my mouth was clenched shut and blue. They had to give me mouth to mouth. Luckily, everything turned out ok & medication keeps me seizure free! But I don’t remember anything that happened that day!

I was first scouted by a photographer named Boo George in Oxford Street in London. I had no idea who he was and later found out he was a very successful fashion photographer. He shot me for a magazine called Arena Homme+. He then hooked me up with an agency and I did some amazing jobs in London and Europe. I took a big hiatus and am now back in the game, hoping to get a few gigs.

— Tell us about your hometown.
I live in a place called Warrandyte with my wife, kids and dog. It’s a magical place by the Yarra River in Melbourne. When it is hot, we go down to the river for a dip. We are surrounded by nature, which I find very calming and grounding. We consider ourselves very lucky to live where we do.

— The most interesting thing about your family:
I think the most interesting thing about my family background is that I am such a mixture of nationalities. When I was younger, I felt I didn’t fit in anywhere because my nationality was so mixed. When I was a kid, I often stayed at my grandparents’ house.
