Tami Williams

Oh what a year can change! Kingston, Jamaica glamazon Tami Williams has become a Vogue mainstay, a regular on campaigns for Valentino, Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Dolce & Gabbana, and has walked in every high fashion show you can imagine. Discovered at 12 when she entered a modeling competition, she dreamt of being a model since she was a prepubescent. “When I was really young, I would look through magazines like Vogue and see the Naomi’s. I would ask my mother agent what Vogue was and after him explaining it to me, I thought, for sure I’ll be in it one day!” And the big dreamer certainly has on numerous occasions, along with spots in W and Another Magazine. Since her exclusive debut walking for Alexander Wang, she’s gone onto charm the industry with her lanky, long frame and brilliant gap-toothed smile. What’s the next goal she wants to achieve? “After, I want my own line, clothing or cosmetic; but, also I want to be the face of a cosmetics brand. That’s the goal—and I want to do Victoria’s Secret! My fingers are all crossed!”
