Kenzo F/W 16

Posted by models.com | March 9th, 2016

A jolt of maximalism. A touch a girlish, dainty things. A more the merrier attitude. Kenzo’s latest Fall Winter ’16 collection channeled sensibilities Ziggy Stardust could be proud of, turning their catwalk stars into a breed of pop-punkified princesses. The designs were stocked with paired patterns on the brink of mutiny–signature to the brand, puffed sleeves, oversized blazers, A-line skirts, and ruffles that took victorian flounce into the modern age. All this done to the beat of vivid, electric hues. Backstage, green and seasoned models like Selena Forrest, Lorena Maraschi, Marjan Jonkman, Lia and Odette Pavlova and Madison Stubbington were beautified with a traced, bold cat-eye, a dash of glitter and bang-centric updos. The amped outcome was appealingly up to the minute.
