Thom Walker’s innovative approach to makeup draws inspiration from architecture, using shapes and colours pulled from the urban landscape of his home in East London. Born in Northern England, Walker began his career training with MAC Cosmetics in Paris. Since then, he has gone on to create editorial work for Italian, British, and Chinese Vogue, AnOther, i-D, W Magazine, Double, Luncheon, and Dazed and Confused. His charm and charisma have made him a desired collaborator with photographers including Paolo Roversi, Walter Pfeiffer, Sølve Sundsbø, Jack Davison, Richard Burbridge, Nick Knight, and Rafael Pavarotti. He’s also consulted for brands such as Alexander McQueen, Off-White, Hermes, and Thomas Tait, and worked with celebrity clients including Emma Watson, Claire Foy, Kristen Stewart, Mia Goth, FKA Twigs, and Rosalía.
From 2020 to 2021, Thom worked as Chanel’s UK Makeup Artist. And in 2022, Thom was announced as Givenchy’s Makeup Creative Director.
