What part of fashion month was the most memorable for you?
I think it had to be the Rick Owens show. I dreamt of working with him, and the show was just incredible!
What motivates you?
One of my main motivations for self-development was the doubt others expressed towards my abilities when I was a kid. I wanted to prove to myself and everyone around that I can be successful.

What part of fashion month was the most memorable for you?
There were two, during the Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu shows, when you go on the runway and feel thousands of eyes on you, and start walking down the runway to the upbeat music. It’s an amazing feeling, impossible to put into words.
What is something people would be surprised to find out about you?
I try to never use the elevator, because I’m scared of getting stuck. I still sleep with a stuffed animal.

The moment I will treasure the most is when the Gucci team was congratulating me on closing the show. There was so much kindness and sincerity. I am incredibly grateful to the designer and casting directors for giving me this chance!
Without which 3 things can you not survive?
I can live without any “things”, but I can’t survive without the people I love.
What is the strongest feature of your appearance?
I think it is my height (Editor’s note:Polina is 5’7 1/2”). Because of it, it is hard not to notice me during casting :)

Я смогу прожить без любой вещи, а вот без родных – никак.

There is something very intriguing about this video game addict who admits to not having much free time to play anymore. Making her first appearance at the Gucci men’s show this June, Unia returned to their runway with yet another exclusive, and adding Balenciaga to her show list.
How did you get discovered?
Many friends kept telling me that I could be a model, so to prove them wrong I filled out a form on the site of my current mother agency. It’s a funny little story.
What part of fashion month was the most memorable for you?
Probably my callback for Balenciaga. I got the email super last minute and ran there as fast as I could. Alexander (Wang) turned out to be really fun and I stopped being nervous. After a short talk and them seeing my walk I got to try on a dress, and they took my picture. I was so happy, after I left the building for a long time I just walked with a smile on my face :)
What do you like the most about your job?
Probably the rhythm. Constant castings, last minute travels, meeting new people, and getting new experiences.

Какой момент недели моды был для тебя самым особенным?
Наверное, когда меня повторно позвали на кастинг Balenciaga. Это случилось в последний момент, и пришлось бежать со всех ног. Александр (Александр Вэнг, на тот момент креативный директор Balenciaga – примечание редактора) оказался очень веселым, и все моё волнение улетучилось. После короткого разговора и моего дефиле на меня померили платье и сфотографировали. Я была так счастлива, уже выйдя из здания, шла и улыбалась еще очень долго :)
Что бы любишь больше всего в своей работе?
Наверное, ритм – постоянные кастинги и поездки, о которых узнаешь в последний момент, новые знакомства и впечатления.

I accidentally saw that Yulia Shavyrina (director of Avant Models Moscow) replied to one of my Ask.fm questions, and got in touch with her.
What part of fashion month was the most memorable for you?
The Dries Van Noten show. Great style, marvelous set design, and incredible live music that pierces your soul! I got so many positive emotions out of it.
What do you need most to start off your day?
A call to mum.

What part of fashion month was the most memorable for you?
The most special and intriguing moment for me was the Fausto Puglisi show, because it was my first show of my first season. But I wasn’t nervous beforehand, it was just really interesting to see how [fashion shows] happen in real life, instead of watching them on TV.
Without which 3 things can you not survive?
I can’t survive without support of others. If for some reason I can’t get in touch with my friends and family I start getting depressed. I can’t live without sweet things, they are my good mood secret. And music.
What is the strongest feature of your appearance?
My head of course. Although I do love my legs. But everyone says that the shape of my skull is my strongest aspect, as it is very aesthetically correct.

Без поддержки. Если по какой-то причине я не могу связаться с моими близкими и друзьями, у меня начинается депрессия. Еще не могу без сладкого, это мой источник хорошего настроения. И музыка для меня тоже очень важна.
Что, на твой взгляд, больше всего цепляет в твоем образе?
Конечно, голова. Хоть я обожаю свои ноги, по отзывам людей, с которыми я работала, самая сильная черта моей внешности – это эстетически правильный череп.
