Patrick Petitjean/Success Models. Photo: Nathaniel Goldberg, styled by David Bradshaw for GQ Style Spring/Summer 08.
This opening shot made OTM catch its breath at the beauty of the image by Nathaniel Goldberg and the sheer perfection in casting Patrick as the Greek god of the sea. We hear that, like Poseidon in his domain, Patrick has a dominion from which he emerges only to do blue chip work like this. See here how visually spot on is the GQ choice. Our vote for one of the most mesmerizing male models in recent memory.

There is a real man’s man walking among us. A Greek God of
sorts…his name? Patrick Petitjean, of course!

There is nothing amazing about these pictures, one of them
looks like he is wearing an old vest on his head. The whole
shoot is not very convincing: and the plastic necklace, way
over the top and a touch camp. I suppose it was meant to be
some type of Robinson Caruso for the 21st century type shoot.

Bravo to Models.com for bringing this to us. These images are beautiful and
wholly relevant to our current media climate. Both Patrick and
Nathaniel have given us images that mens fashion can unabashedly
aspire to.

some people just seem to get mass recognition over night. I’ve
sen a marketing of this model in H&M recently. my first
impression was that he looks like
a made for tv movie depition of Jesus. he’s of course no doubt
gorgeous. it’s always great to
recognize ppl for such distinct features

The finest example of possibility within a saturated pretty boy industry. My hat is off to Mr. Petitjean and Mr. Goldberg for bringing us art! I have a new favorite combination of model and photographer….simply brilliant!

FINALLY… we take a lengendary story and together, Mr. Petitjean and Mr. Goldberg, David Bradshaw (and their team) weave a composition that is undoubtedly this year’s finest men’s photographic composition. Casting “the pretty boys” to the side, Poseidon is beyond refreshing. It’s iconic. It was needed. Upon seeing the spread in GQ Style, I instantly said, “WOW. Brilliant. At long last. Smartly crafted. And in a market so uninspiring — daring!” Thank you.
