There are many a cool girl who stroll up and down the runway for Prada, but how many of them are actually champion equestrians? There’s only one, right this minute and she is New York Models’ new sensation, Cate Chant. Cate comes charging into town this Wednesday for her first NY show season and you can rest assured that her options are the very best and the very best only. The genius thing about Cate, apart from her runway elegance is the fact that she has been riding for 10 years. Ms Chant has a pony, a jumper and a hunter as well as an equitation horse and spends December – April in West Palm Beach competing, then May-November in Ontario. Cate also rides 6 days a week, all year around, that is when she is not marching down those blue chip runways.
