Now the story can be told. Jamaican newcomer Nadine/Supreme surfaces in the current Gucci campaign and very much holds her own. And for the naysayers on our Industry Forums expressing confusion concerning the “theme” of this season’s Gucci ads, here’s the backstory. Think Power Dressed 80′s Amazons (Dewi=Brigette Nielson, Nadine=Grace Jones) nursing power babies. Very “Women Having It All. Juggling Career and Family” Or at least that’s the partyline we’ve been given.
