The
Editor: Very similar to the Gucci in a way that you would think
would be detracting but it actually works. Reminds you of a really great
Fashion Week after party, where the girls left the show in the clothes
and make-up. Really communicates a sense of jaded exclusivity.
Photographer:
That's because everything's slightly green. Love the green tint. Makes
it sick. This is new and elegant as opposed to old and elegant. You
know what really impresses me here? I'm impressed by the use of red
to contrast the flourescent green tint. It's slightly tarnished like
copper turning green. Very cool.
The
Clothes Horse: I'm losing the clothes though. I'm getting great
ideas for hair and make-up for the next time I do an after-hours. The
slick backed hair with a big loose bun in the back is wicked! But there's
something about this ad, it's not letting me know how to dress the way
Gucci does.
The
Editor: Maybe the people who wear Valentino don't need to be told
how to dress darling. These clothes aren't trendy in the least. It's
a very hip, very, very trendy advertisement but the clothes are very
35 and over. Which is wonderful. I think.
