The Editor: Well I loved this one at first sight. Loved the visual continuation Camilla achieved with the use of plaid. Loved the All-American preppies at play. Loved the LA light, the vintage cars, the diners, the pompadours on the boys. Loved Angela's milk-fed glow. So happy. So Fifties! So All American... Mario gets it. He really does!

The Photographer: He's very good but doesn't his work get a little repetitive sometimes? I mean this works and it's the best Hilfiger campaign I've ever seen but these pictures. I've seen them before as a Gap campaign and aren't we getting tired of the gang thing. Gangs in Burberry. Gangs in Gucci. Now gangs in Hilfiger. A little innovation would be good at this point.

The Agent: So go buy the latest issue of Purple then! This is America. This is Hilfiger. This is an incredible campaign that made the whole industry sit up and pay attention. I mean what's the difference between Polo and Hilfiger? This is the difference. Hilfiger's people are fun! This campaign communicates that and that's why it gets my vote as No 2.

The It Girl: Plaids and fishnets. Who woulda thought. Great, great pictures. Great styling. Wouldn't be caught dead in any of this stuff!
