Well I think they really re-positioned because they
were sandwiched between Milan & Paris and they felt that people where just skipping
them..But having your show done early and then doing your sales and having all that time
to sell and refocus and being able to go back to your showroom and say to yourself
"I like what I said artistically but commercially I need a top to go under this
", having the luxury of time to be able to do that, that's the ideal . Everybody
talks about this person's quality vs that person's quality but when you're showing in
February and shipping in August, there's a big difference between showing in April and not
getting your orders until May . So I don't feel that US quality is inferior. Richard Tyler
is a prime example. As you can see I'm getting a little bit political but I'm getting that
way for the first time in this business because I just feel like certain things need
to be done.
