He currently lives and works between Berlin and Tokyo. Stefan has been a consultant for the United Nations since 2019, teaching a class of returnees in collaboration with UNHCR and the Ethical Fashion Initiative in Afghanistan and working on various campaigns for ethical fashion brands.

In 2012 Stefan Dotter founded Whitelies Magazine, a contemporary arts and culture magazine working as a visual intercultural bridge between Europe and East-Asia through collaborations with artists around the world, showing the links and points of connection. Whitelies challenges the readers with cutting edge, thought-provoking content while allowing them to rest within an uncontaminated vision.
