Specialising in both cutting and styling, Roxy Attard pulls inspiration from London’s underground scenes, finding beauty in subcultures, the rebellious and original. Highlighting these aesthetics in her craft, Roxy brings a unique voice to the forefront of hairstyling and grooming, pulling from her vast cultural style references across both fashion and music to elevate hair to a place where it has it’s own narrative.
Working across all hair textures throughout her career, Roxy’s experience with all hair types across women’s hair styling and mens grooming is the foundation of her practice, allowing her to work confidently with a very specific brief or bringing ideas to the table with a open concept.
Being a trailblazer Roxy opened Sister Joan, an inclusive salon in Margate, with her co-owner Keziah Stilwell. Creating a safe space for clients to experiment with hair and lean into her experience garnered over the years of session styling. The salon uses cruelty free, vegan products and is a hub of creativity, sub culture and inclusivity that Roxy channels with her creative work.
