Son and grandson of a hairdresser, Nicolas Philippon did his apprenticeship in his father's salon. He continued his training in a freelance salon, then in London to perfect his cutting technique. His beginnings in fashion were made alongside with his uncle hairstylist Laurent Philippon ,whom he assisted for several years. Nicolas masters all types of hair, which allows him to juggle between the natural and the creative, constantly in the desire to sublimate his model.

He collaborates with Sharna Osborne, Reto Schmidd, Darren Gwynn or Camille Summers-Valli, and has been working for many years for Chanel, Sephora, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Kenzo, Louis Vuitton and Armani.
