Matt Lambert is a filmmaker and photographer based in
Berlin whose gripping, sensual work has found
worldwide acclaim.
Working across narrative film, experimental
documentary, music video, fashion and photography,
Lambert is an artist whose work is in constant dialogue
with contemporary ideas of intimacy, love, gender,
LGBT issues and youth.
He has worked with fashion brands such as Converse,
Givenchy, Gucci and Marc Jacobs, has contributed to
Dazed, iD, PAPER, 10men, Numero Homme,
Wonderland, Purple, Nylon, Vogue US, Hero, 032c,
SSAW and BUTT and has collaborated with several
artists like Mykki Blanco, Years and Years, Le1f, Zebra
Katz, Hercules and Love Affair, Patrick Wolf, Austra,
Prodigy…
His first photo book, Keim, captures moments from gay
youth in Berlin and his second book, VITIUM explores a
more experimental version in the form of punk zine.
Tribeca Film Festival named him one of the ten
filmmakers of the future, and Dazed put him on their list
of top 100 creative influencers of 2015.
