Born in Sardinia, Italy in 1964. The Global Creative
Director for John Frieda.

In 1983, moved
to
Paris to begin his career as a hairstylist. Has
worked with every top fashion magazine as well as
most of the top fashion photographers in the
world. Has worked with Armani, Gucci, YSL, Viktor
& Rolf, Chloe, Givenchy, Prada, Helmut Lang,
Roberto Cavalli, Jil Sander, Helmut Lang, Louis
Vuitton, Armani, Versace, Narciso Rodriguez.
Worked with Madonna on her 2001 Drowned World
Tour.
Works with celebrities such as Nicole Kidman,
Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears, Scarlett
Johansson, Julianne Moore, Charlize Theron and
Jennifer Lopez.. Won Marie Claire's prestigious Prix
D'excellence de la Modes. In 2005, worked as
Kerastase's Creative Artistic Consultant. Also works
with Tim Burton. One of Murenu's favorite shoots
was i-D Magazine March 2009 where he worked on
all the models.
