Kristin-Lee Moolman is a South African born photographer and filmmaker. Having grown up during the political transition between Apartheid South Africa and Nelson Mandela's new South Africa has had a profound and long lasting impact on the narrative of her work, and fuels the drive to create a Utopian vision for the future.
Her work explores the ever-changing social and political landscape of Africa through portraits marked by contrasting realities - promoting powerful new identities that provide counter-narratives to current stereotyped, idealized imagery.
