Born in London, Julia Sarr-Jamois joined i-D Magazine aged 19, and moved on to became senior fashion editor, honing her perspective for storytelling while working alongside photographers including Tyrone Lebon, Harley Weir and Zoe Ghertner. In 2018, she joined British Vogue as fashion editor at large, and now fashion director, capturing a diverse range of stories from Serena Williams in Los Angeles to an elaborate exploration of a journey taken on the Orient Express. Her long-standing commercial clients include young designers like Kenneth Ize as well as household names like Chanel, Hermès, Fendi and Burberry.
